It is a novel set in the last part of this century, it is harrowing, concerning, and a realistic view of our future.

Why hasn’t Jesus returned to earth, maybe he tried and was ignored as some kind of religious madman.
What if God sent emissaries, the recently departed themselves returning to their lives at the behest of Christ, it was something which could not be ignored.
